Beautifully written! I’m one to believe that is our nature as human beings to share emotions and love for one another – it’s one of things that makes humanity more unique! So, when we grow sad because a loved one passed, it is because it is in our nature, and when death comes, it’s like a link has been severed leaving us unstable. However, Zen Buddhism teaches us about ourselves and existence, and we may realize that death is simply another aspect of living and existence, so a deep calm is there for those who seek it in times of desperation. /smile
